Winamp is a highly-extensible media player that supports a wide range of audio formats, including MP3, Ogg, MIDI, MOD, MPEG, AAC, M4A, FLAC, WAV and WMA. In addition, Winamp can play and import music from audio CDs, optionally with CD-Text, and can burn music to CDs. Winamp also plays video, natively supporting WMV and Nullsoft Streaming Video. For unsupported video types, Winamp uses Microsoft DirectShow. Surround sound is supported where formats and decoders allow.
The pro version of Winamp offers greatly improved CD burning and ripping speeds, and support for additional video formats.
Winamp for Android allows you to wirelessly sync your Android phone with your desktop PC.
